Method of collection

The Company collects the information of users in a way of the followings:

  • Login to HRP system, Joining the study
  • HRP client app will collect data from Mobile Shealth Application and Mobile sensor
  • HRP client Watch app will collect watch sensor data using Sensor SDK, and Semsensor SDK

Audio Data Collection

We only record audio when you are actively participating in one of the following activities and have explicitly initiated the recording session. The App does not record audio in the background or at any other time without your direct action.

1.1. Sustained Phonation Activity

Purpose: To collect measurements related to voice strength.

Data Collected: Audio recordings of you sustaining a vowel sound (e.g., "ahhh") for a specified duration.

1.2. Mobile Spirometry Activity

Purpose: To collect measurements related to the forcefulness of exhales.

Data Collected: Audio recordings of you performing forced exhalation maneuvers as prompted by the App.

1.3. Speech Recognition Activity

Purpose: To collect measurements related to voice strength and clarity.

Data Collected: Audio recordings of you speaking specific words, phrases, or sentences as prompted by the App.

1.4. Guided Breathing Activity

Purpose: To collect measurements related to deep breathing.

Data Collected: Audio recordings of your breathing patterns while you follow guided breathing instructions within the App.

Use of collected information

The Company uses the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To conduct health research studies and analysis
  • To provide personalized health insights and recommendations
  • To improve and develop new health-related services and features
  • To monitor and enhance the performance of the Health Research Platform
  • To ensure the security and integrity of the platform
  • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • To communicate with users regarding their participation in research studies

Audio data specifically is used for:

  • Vocal health assessment and monitoring
  • Respiratory function analysis

Audio Data Security:

  • Audio data is processed in secure environments with restricted access

Protection of personal information of children

The Company is committed to protecting the privacy of children. The Health Research Platform is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or applicable minimum age in the jurisdiction). The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Audio data collection features are disabled for accounts identified as belonging to users under 13 years of age.

If the Company becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected personal information from a child, it will take immediate steps to delete such information. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information to the Company should contact us using the information in Section 8.

Modification of Privacy Protection Policy

The Company may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in practices, services, or legal requirements. Users will be notified of any material changes through:
